The time to start is now.

Stress can be difficult to manage during challenging times. It’s all about choice.

Turn off the news and media. If you need to check in, do so quickly, get the information you need and turn it OFF.

Catch yourself when you start going into a downwards spiral. STOP. Breathe. Observe. Be present. Repeat as needed.

When you catch yourself spiraling, ask yourself:

  • Does my stress serve a purpose? 
  • Does my fear serve a purpose? 
  • Is my brain writing a necessary story? 
  • Is this story I am writing true? 

There is a difference between being cautious and living in fear.

When you notice yourself writing the worst case scenario, and the negative chatter begins – STOP. Breathe. 

Like coming to a fork in the road; which road will you choose?

Once you have gone too far down the chaotic road, it is harder to turn back. If you can take 5 minutes every hour to practice gratitude for the blessings you do have in your life with a few deep breaths, you will not find yourself so far down a negative road. Try to catch yourself before you fall.

The thoughts you give attention to, are the ones that will win. Which Story wins, is your choice.
